DT Swiss XR 1450

Well I got my DT Swiss XR 1450 wheelset in today and got to take a look. The front wheel came with 15mm thru axle, and 5mm QR and 10mm Thru Bolt for the rear. The 10mm will make the rear a bit stiffer, but I can’t really mount the front wheel since it is 15mm only, and all I have are 5mm QR on my forks. I sent DT Swiss an email to ask about a conversion kit (since it came with a rear conversion to do QR and TB), but was told that the front is 15mm only and there is nothing I can do.
Bummed as I they were advertised as having both options for the front, and I even asked about it before buying
This picture shows the front wheel with 15mm front (100mm wheel) and both rear skewers (135mm). The thin one is the QR and the thicker one is the 10mm TB
Here are the adapters to use the QR in the rear, the bag is for the 10mm TB, so they were put on the wheel
Both wheels, look great, nice bags, and in new condition. One thing I like about the bags is that they are padded. I have a pair of Bontrager wheel bags, and they are just nylon, no padding, except a small patch at the hubs. I will get some better pictures up in the next day or so.
Shimano RT75 Brake Rotors

Well I bought what were supposed to be new rotors on eBay, but upon closer inspection, they appear used. Still working out some type of refund before getting some real new ones. These are going on my 2010 Trek Fuel EX 9.8 when I finally get it sorted out.
Crank Brothers Cobalt Wheelset

Well I needed some beefier tires for my Fuel EX 9.8, and ended up going with some Bontrager Rhythm Pro’s, so this set of wheels is now making the auction rounds on eBay. Is “too light” a good reason for getting rid of some wheels?
2009 Gary Fisher Procaliber

I picked up this 2009 Gary Fisher Procaliber as a project bike, and decided it is much better suited for someone else. As awesome as it is, there is no room in my stable for it, so it will find its way on eBay soon enough.
