Tonight was my time to take care of some upgrades to my 2010 Trek Fuel EX 9.8. It started out with changing the FSA headset that came on it, and replacing it with a Cane Creek 110 ZS Tapered instead. It was a pretty easy process since I had all the tools I needed. The end result was great. Should be ready to ride in another week when I get the other upgraded parts in. Here is a list of the changes coming:
- FSA Headset > Cane Creek 110 ZS Tapered
- Shimano XT Crank > Shimano XTR Crank
- Shimano XT Rear Derailleur > Shimano XTR Rear Derailleur
- Shimano XT Shifters > Shimano XTR Shifters
- Avid Elixir R Brakeset > Shimano XT Brakeset
- Bontrager Rhythm Elite Wheelset > Bontrager Rhythm Pro Wheelset
- Shimano Shift Cables > Shimano XTR Shift Cables

Chase and I had a random Saturday Morning. We started out heading to breakfast and made our way to REI for some Garage Sale. Well that was worthless. We ended up waiting in line to look at junk. It wasn’t a total waste as we got some goodies for Courtney that made her happy.

In celebration of Courtney’s birthday this weekend, we went to her favorite place for dinner . . . Niko Nikos. The food there is awesome, and the Athenian Mud Pie is the absolute best in town. Chase made some crazy faces and they had to be captured.
